What is the purpose of the $PLAY or $LAY tokens?

On Build3rs, the $PLAY and $LAY tokens allow you to:

  • Contribute to the creation of digital twins (finance data acquisition or produce 3D models),

  • Purchase licenses enabling exports to be used in all types of digital creations, and to automate redistribution of the products generated (revenues) to the rights holders,

  • Weight the powers of DAO contributors and provide access to the digital twin when it is used for a project.

What's the difference between the $PLAY token and the $LAY token?

The $PLAY is the first version of the $LAY token deployed on Polygon's testnet (Mumbai). This token enables the community to start using the various Build3rs features before the $LAY token is officially deployed. In addition to the Build3rs services, these $LAY tokens make you eligible for all the exclusive community benefits we'll be offering right up to deployment.

What is a fungible token (ERC-20)?

A fungible token (ERC-20) is a digital token created and managed on the Ethereum standards-compliant blockchain, conforming to a set of specific standards that ensure interoperability. These standards define how these tokens can be transferred, how transactions are approved, how users can access data such as total balance and individual balance, and how these tokens can be issued or destroyed. This standardization enables ERC-20 tokens to be exchanged seamlessly on a variety of platforms, and to be managed by a wide range of e-wallets.

$PLAY (tesnet) and $LAY (mainnet)

The $PLAY is a prototype of the $LAY, with the same features but deployed on a test network to enable our developers to improve functionality and security. It's our safety net to offer you a secure and efficient product when deployed on the main Polygon blockchain network.

We decided to deploy our ERC-20 token and all the smartcontracts for our services on the Polygon blockchain.
