Some users may encounter problems sending transactions on Build3rs. Indeed, at present, the platform's smart contracts are deployed on the testnet network of the Polygon Amoy blockchain. However, in order to send transactions on this network, transaction fees are billed to the issuer of the transaction (namely: you), which requires possession of MATIC on your wallet address.
First of all, connect to the Build3rs platform, and click on the button related to your profile in the header
Then, copy the address above the “Disconnect” button
Go to the Build3rs platform, and click on the button at the bottom left
You will be able to view the balance of your MATIC wallet address on the test network.
You can also check on-chain the amount in MATIC (and LAY) you have in your wallet from this explorer: https://amoy.polygonscan.com/
To facilitate your user experience, we send you a certain amount in MATIC on the Amoy network so that you can easily transact directly.
However, you may not have:
Either you have not yet received the MATICs that Lay3rs sends you free of charge
Either completely spend the balance in MATIC that Lay3rs has already sent to you
The amount of transaction fees on the Amoy network fluctuates depending on transaction congestion.
The more transactions the network has to process over a short period of time, the more the cost of issuing a transaction increases.
Thus, it is possible that from time to time, the cost of transaction fees is abnormally high, and could drain your balance in MATIC
In case your MATIC balance is too low to issue a transaction, we recommend one of the following actions:
We advise you to go to the official Polygon faucet website, which distributes 0.2 MATIC free of charge to all addresses that do not have the means to pay transaction fees on the network: https://faucet.polygon.technology/
Don't forget to select the "Polygon PoS (Amoy)" network in "Network"
Finally, you can copy your address in the given field and click on the “Submit” button
After that, you should receive MATIC on your wallet address within a few seconds
