Digital twins governance

General principle

Each digital twin is surrounded by a community of diverse contributors, all passionate about history, architecture or new technologies.

This community exchanges and decides through blockchain-based tools made available by Build3rs. Thanks to these tools, each project community is able to govern the future of the digital twins in an autonomous, decentralized, secure and transparent way.

Responsibility: developing the digital twin over time

The community's primary role is to help the digital twin evolve over time.

This is achieved by:

• the acquisition of new data to improve the digital twin,

• the creation of new exports adapted to specific uses,

• the definition of the conditions for distributing exports, including pricing and rules of use,

• the distribution of value between the various players over time.

All these orientations are put to the vote via decentralized decision-making tools based on blockchain.


To achieve its objectives, the community has the following options:

• allocation of resources to a reserve fund,

• creation of new calls for funds around data acquisition projects or the creation of new exports,

• weighting the value of the twin's various raw data sets.
